KEVIN M. JAMESON

             Sitting in his bunk on the USS Reagan, mystery crime writer Kevin Jameson had hours to fill with nothing but time on his hands. He began reading dozens of mystery novels and felt a stirring to create his own tales. Figuring out what he should do for a career had remained a mystery to him until he found his passion for writing.

       At Kaplan University, where he gained a B.S. in Health and Wellness he was forced to write copious amounts on demand in the non-fiction arena. It gave him the confidence to consider writing as a full-time profession, but Kevin was more interested in writing fiction. This led to his attendance at Full Sail University where he earned his Bachelors of Fine Arts in Creative Writing for Entertainment.

       Kevin’s mystery stories read like a police procedural where he dances between the internal thoughts of his characters and the external actions they take. He delves into the minds of his protagonist, who fights crime, and the antagonist, who justifies his criminal insanity. The detail of his words is like a magnifying glass at a crime scene filled with detail that makes his stories both fascinating and deeply compelling.

        Kevin is currently working on his debut novel, titled Magic Storm, the story about a rookie detective and his German Shepard who are chasing a deranged fugitive headed for the border.
